blunders.

i've been MIA for so many months,im even doubting myself whether i still have the flair for writing.but things aren't gonna be the same.in fact,nothing stays stagnant. So this time,there wouldn’t be the typical, sequential ‘today I did …. Just now I did…. “ this time around, it would be an avenue to express my thoughts.

Okay,lets do this.

A word has been bothering me for so many months,years even. CHOICES.

The cliché goes, always make the right choice.as I grow older,I have never been able to accept this cliché word for word.i have always been on the fence with this one,I mean,what is THE RIGHT CHOICE?how do you know what is the right choice?do you get this churn in your tummy when you know that’s the one?or do you get all exhilarated and you have this tingly feeling inside you? How?

As an adolescent myself, I figured,it’s okay to to make the wrong choice. Its okay to screw up. Because only then will you know what is right.you get my drift? No?—okay.lemme explain,if you keep doing things the right way from the beginning,never had committed a mistake, the things you do is no longer RIGHT for you. Theyre just, routines.mundane tasks. So my point is,in order to know whats right, you have to know whats wrong.

But more importantly,please learn from them,it may be hard, maybe breaking a habit, or treating people right, or even the tiniest trivial mistakes like a math problem,learn from them,for only then can we better people.

initially,i had NDP rehearsal this afternoon,so i had to give my Gundus a miss.then,last minute i got to know its tomorrow,and before i could come back to my girls,my aunt asked me out to witness my cousin's POC,he's becoming a firefighter!i like :))

all the men looked similar,for the first time,it was hard for me to spot him!(normally hes the most good looking one around,so yeahhh)it felt really nice to see 2 women being a part of this even though,i felt inspired.but not inspired enough to join the core.hehe.

im sure Zuhri's parents are proud of him,becoming just like his brother too.how cool yea?his brother joing the dart force soon.

hello world.

i got my hair done today :)

all in the name of helping a friend.jessica didnt have enough models for her practical class(hair dressing)and the great thing was,it was a rebonding practical!and i only had to pay 18 bucks!it's totally worth it lah sey.im a really happy girl.came just in time when my ugly hair needs rescuing.

it's been a really busy week,esp having lots of assignments waiting,but i headed to the beach in the evening to get some free basic drumming lessons :)

after such a long time,im gonna meet my gundus tomorrow.awesome.i miss them alot.and oh oh,this little caterpillar turned into a lovely butterfly right on my lime tree!

haha,funniest thing happened,okay,i was on my way to white sands to get my makeup stock refilled,when i chanced upon this shoppe.it had an African theme,selling accesories and other merchandise from Africa,the sales guy were all dressed up in their traditional costume.and they had this african percussion video on.

so,i had a look of their accesories and i liked what i saw.then skali,the sales guy gatal sia,started flirting with me.say i pretty lah whatnots.ask me out for makan and everything..

it's so depressing to hear everyone falling ill on this beautiful day.it's supposed to be April Fools' but i was greeted with a phone call that my cousin,Abang Isham was admitted.but the funny thing was...

so i obediently passed the phone to my mum.and went back to sleep.heh,sorry ah,it was 6.37am okay.then at around nine,my mum told me,that my aunt actually called a bomoh!like wtffff.i have to say,she's not that well educated but,BOMOH?!serious ahhh,cant she go on to a medical problem first,and then maybe jump to the bomoh?

hahaha,then the bomoh even told her that it was gastric,and not some black magic.haha!so my aunt rushed him to the hospital via ambulance.just receiving latest news,he has to stay overnight.

and to think that wasn't enough,i received a text from my girl friend,Regina,that her mum was admitted too.oh gosh,why is everyone falling ill?ill pray for all of you to get better.and hopefully i would be blessed with good health as i have a lot of things i wanna do still,in this life.

just yesterday morning,i received a call from Lia's school,saying that i had to fetch her.she had some chest pains after her 2.4km run,and so i thought,it must've have been those days that she's slightly not feeling well,so i took my time to have my shower.just as then,mum answered another call,from her PE teacher,saying that she was brought to the hospital via ambulance.

the moment she hung up the phone,i could hear clinging and clanging of the utensils.this always happens,she'll get nervous and all gabra,not knowing how else to relieve her tensions,she banged on the bathroom door,telling me to hurry up.

so i did,within 5 minutes okay,so Lia was diagnosed with Hyperventilation.which is kind of expected,she had been having breathing difficulties for quite some time,but nothing serious.

just glad that youre okay now.and dont make me kanchiong spider ever again okay!

things are not looking to good for dad,he's been through so much since,WE have gone through so much.

only god knows.

the breathing tubes,the lung infection,the fluctuating blood pressure,the uncontrollable heart rate,

has made my dad looked as if he's aged so much.

just looking at him through the glass,has got tears rolling down.

i cant do this anymore,it;'s too taxing on him,on me.

i cant imagine what he must be feeling,doctors have given the final word,

we just have to pray for the best.

i learnt something last night.

little things can erupt into something my bigger,deadly to others if not handled properly.

though the mini session we had was indeed a little heaty towards the end,im kinda glad that we actually got to the bottom of it.

and i was expecting the worst from our inner selves to show up to the meeting,but everything's good i guess.

but the the rest of practice time was spent well,we had succesfully created 2 new original pieces!and daymn,both pieces were hot.

i guess the whole creative session made each of us reminisce the old times and by then,we were all laughing at whatnots and i can actually see a glimmer of hop that things can actually turn out better :)

eighteen chefs.

yesterday,i intended to stay home the whole day.but since lia had plans with her friends to have lunch,i decided to tag along :)

suzie fat sia.

then,we came to a place called EIGHTEEN CHEFS.the moment i saw it,immediately thought of Jamie Oliver's FIFTEEN waaay in London.and when we were seated,we were served by mat reps and ah bengs.and there were Jamie Oliver cookbooks everywhere!confirm plus chop ah Jamie Oliver nye.

but turns out,one of our delinquents in SG was recruited by Jamie to learn his cooking secrets in London,and he decided to open a branch here and call it eighteen chefs :)

im a full and satisfied lady!

and then that night,we went bowling!but we had to wait for 2 hours before we could play.and by that time,it was 1 am mind you.so we just played 1 game since abang had to work the next day.

Hello all

I am Brandon, Auntie Lia's little nephew.

I spent my whole afternoon at her house and i had alot of fun !

Firstly, they have Canon Digital Ixus and they took alot of my picture.

i cant help it but to smile,see..

They had a platform in their house and i love going up and down.

This is a form of exercise for me. I need to keep myself fit and healthy :)

They also switched on my favourite cartoon .

I will get really excited and will dance along with mickey mouse !

Soon when its time for my nap, i will get cranky.

Auntie Lia would cuddle me up and put me to sleep.

I love it when she cuddles me and she would sit on the rocking chair.

I am an Aircon baby too.So Auntie Lia has to stand in front of the fan to make sure i sleep well.

It takes a while for me to adjust my sleeping position when she put me on the comforter.

I have to sleep on it cause i know Auntie Lia's arms are breaking apart.

Im growing and i get heavier as days goes by.im a big boy now.

I slept so peacefully for 2 and a half hour.

When i woke up,its time for me to change my diapy and bathe.

I got a little bit cold but Auntie Zai makes sure that the water temperature is just nice for me.

After bathing,i felt more fresh.Auntie Zai cant stop taking my picture ,even after i bathe.

I cant help it but to smile :D

I smell really nice after my Aunties put alot of Johnson baby powder on my body.

I had my snacks after that.Strawberry Yoghurt and milo are my favourite !

I then played with my Uncle rapee.I love it when he carries me.

Not long after that, My Granpa came to take me home.

this was what happened in school last week.i was greeted by this,quotes on the screen wishing me "Thayet Myo hacking Day!"of course,i thought that some random TP student did this as a joke.at first there was only one and then came 6 more.soon,the whole class got it too but m desktop had the most.and then my keyboard went crazy.the numlock,caps lights went haywire,i couldnt type properly,we called the IT helpers and they said its a virus attacking the whole school.

its a stupid virus created by Myanmar geeks i tell you.may you guys not live in peace anymore ah.

what a way to start the day right?and the thing is,my thumbdrive was already in.i didnt worry too much though,cos im using a mac and macs are virus free.but daymn,i had to print some stuff in school and sure enough,i spread the virus to the printing shop.hehehe.

but the problem now is,i have no problems with it while im using my mac,but i tried it on my other lappy,and i cant retrieve my files form there.how?

a lot has happened the past week,the RHAS gig,school assignments,class tests and alsothe family squabbles.this week has been draining on me and i just dont know when it's gonna end.and the thought of your friends straying away from you,is just heart wrenching,when it's neither both our faults.but anyhoo,i do believe things happen for a reason and you have your own reasons for doing so.im sure misunderstandings do happen,it's just that i havent been in one and it feels weird for the first time.

all i can hope for is for things to get better.cut me some slack will you,people?im only still 17 and im not supposed to be handling all these things.term tests are coming up next week and i have yet to study.

samba weekend.

this weekend was just SUPERB!it was totally a samba! weekend,first up was Bloco Singapura performing at Orchard and Clarke Quay.the one at club Aqua was awesome.lotsa booze,brazilian men and hot brazilian chicas.

i took all these pictures btw.

and on the Saturday,i went to Upbeats Percussion's busking session at Orchard.i was the only one there cos many had their own plans already,but after the 2nd set,Mas and Nurul came to watch too :)

i had sooo much fun with them lah.i loved the 3rd set the best cos the camera battery was flat,which means i dont have to take anymore pictures,which means that can totally groove!

heheheh.i was so high lah can.as if i was the one performing.hahah.Upbeats was totally awesome lah.and they were all well rewarded.plenty of generous people too!

bowling day!

bowling was a usual,fun!hehehe.too bad Teddy couldnt tag along,so it was me, Lia and Zat.not forgetting the new friend Adnan.he's from Freedom Percussion :) for the first time ever,i got a score this good!

but SOMEBODY WASNT too happy about it cos his score was only 1 point higher then mine,so......he die die wouldnt let me take a picture of it.and true enough it affected my 2nd and 3rd game.

as some of you guys may already know,my neighbourhood is not the safest of all places.though i have a police station right opposite,there has been a number of incidents happenning.need i remind you of the gangfights,couple squabbles and the gunshot incident?

just last night past midnight,there was a man cursing at the top of his voice.being a typical Kay-poh person,i looked out my bedroom to find this man cursing at his girl at the top of his voice.i could hear his words so distinctly.he then started kicking the dustbins and cars.also.being a good samaritan,i called the police to ldge a complaint.so exciting you know!

within 15 mins,the police came and he was brought back to the station for further investigation i guess.i hope he rots in hell ah.uncivilised people like him shouldnt live in neighbourhoods.the jungle is best for him.

speaking of red white and blue,Obama has been elected the 44th.lets give him a chance kay,the first time an african american elected as presidents.we have seen how selfish that White Bush can be and how much trouble he caused for the whole world.lets give Obama the 4 years he deserve,we may never know,he might just change the world!

school has been pretty hectic.this semester,i feel like im more of a design student rather than an IT student.i have 4 modules of design and only 2 for IT.which is...weird.i have 3 sketchbooks right now and the assignments are already coming in.

im getting back those jitters from semester 1.1 again.i havent been eating much and i worry alot before i sleep.i hope i dont crack seriously,i cant afford for that to happen again.im so afraid that i cant handle the assignments and the new things that im gonna learns scares the shitholes out of me.

however,on a lighter note,im totally liking school only because of French.my first lecture was awesome.i was 5 minutes early,yet the lecture is already full.damn you 'crashers'.when i first came in,the hall was blasted with a rock song,thats in french.and the suuper weird thing is,my lecturer is an Englishman,and my tutor is and Italian.haha.

I HAD THE MOST FREAKING AWESOME-EST TIME EVER AT SAMBA!today was special,we had Mr SYED AHMAD from WICKED AURA to organise a small but totally fun/fruitful workshop!i totally thought he would be this obnoxious dude who's a know-it-all(but tecnically he does,but you know what i mean.) he's this really down-to-earth dude who has a strong passion for music.but the best thing that he does,is that,he makes people at ease and makes you believe that you're a musician!like,anyone can play music and he has that smile that make you feel relaxed!hahah.aku puji die berbakul-bakul sia.hahahha.

he started off with a little history,i didnt know half the words he used but i was very intrigued!then it's time for us to strap up and i got to try out his personal surrrrdos!hahhaha(mind the RRRRR's)i could practically feel the vibrations all over my body and that made me so hyped up!we were quick at picking up the beats and it was like the most exhilarating and liveliest practice ever!i swear!everybody was so psyched up,i was actually moving to the beats and i was sooooo enjoying it!

it's totally different la compared to the normal samba practices,even though it was a short one,it was definitely the most memorable!

lol noticed how many exclamations i used in this entry?11 to be exact.heh,and that is still not enough to express my exhilaration! (ooops,here comes another one)

i had a blast this week!it was a raya mania!first up was raya with gundus! plus plus plus!there were like 14 of us and it was a bad hair day for me,due to the rain.we ended off at 1am and thankfully,i was the last house :)but ive yet to receive the pictures!

next up i SAMBAraya!happenning or whaaaaat.janji melayu nye pasal,the early birds had to wait for like an hour cos the bus actually came at 1pm and not 12pm.sheesh.

first house was aisyah and she had the most adorable cats!and ,she has a secret too!

the bus rides,were too boring for me,i couldnt sit still,i just had to do somthing!so ape lagi!

the last house was ela's and that was like 2.30 am.me and teddy left soon after and we i made teddy run for that bloddy cab!we both slept the journey home.so it was 3 am!best record ever,never thought mum would be oh so ever inderstanding!i had a very long cold shower and off to bed!

finally,we got the chance to go out.for once we are a complete family,well,this is the best ive got.we made our way to my grandma's place waaaay in Woodlands and then off to all the nenek's and aunties and uncles houses.malas uhh mau cerite,let the pictures do the talking.

did you step on my offerings?

today is such a crazy day.i was doing a little shopping at Tampines Mall,then on my way home,there was a commotion at the MRT walkway,there were the joss paper everywhere all over the floor,its kinda weird really,then i saw this sign that said "DID YOU STEP ON MY OFFERINGS?" in red.and there was and offering of oranges and joss sticks beside it.turns out the joss paper were actually taped to the ground!so freaky right?i wanted to take a closer look cos there is a smaller note above the sign and i wanted to take photos to post it here,but Lia wouldnt let me.

freaky man,i thought Singaporeans are civillised people,who in the right mind would actually do such a thing?its not even the 7th month.im still curious over why such a thing is done,and i hope that this piece of news will be posted on STOMP or something cos i really wanna know why.

iftar with the gundus +1 was lovely.kinda like a mini catch up session,thought we all look different,our little quirks still remained the same.azie is still swith the pentium 2!carik signboard pun tk dapat.noriz still with her KFC and her air panas,chacha with her curses,and yas and faris made us reminisce our sch days when they started doing the ice/straw spit thingy.

most of us had iced teh tarik so satu2 sakit perut sia.so we decided to walk it off and find sparklers!

faris couldnt resist not buying the dracula teeth although he knew it was to small for him.by the time we got to the playground..satu-satu nye setan da klua.

a little pain

things have been going pretty good.fasting has been easy,life is good.had a salvo practice just now and things have definitely improved.ive gotten the hang of it.and tmr ill be meeting gundus for break fast!yessah,like finally.im a happy happy kidd.

but theres one thing.there's this thing that is growing on the back of my shoulder,kinda like a mole but its not.mum says like bisol.brother had it too and he had to go for operation.mine is like hurting so bad right now and just moving my arm hurts so bad.and this is tough since i have another samba! practice this week.i just hope its nothing though.

anyway,The Script was on Live From Abbey Road!hahah,if they are coming to SG,i swear ill go to their concert!

red lobster,order up!

phew,it was one hell of a day.the day started as early as 9am.we were marshals of the day.helping out power 98 in their annual Carvivor that has a grand prize of 10 000 bucks!it wasnt a forgiving day i tell you,clear blue sky with little clouds in sight,the scorching sun didnt help either.we were like barbequed meat in the sun!by 11 am,we all started to feel the heat,and i can literally feel the heat going up to my head.for the first time ever i had red cheeks and my whole body was covered in burning spots,and so i was called a red lobster!red on the outside,fleshy on the inside!lol.but seeing adults attempting to score into the mini goals sure had its kick!(pun intended)with different types of people,personalities all come together to win the money.i saw a couple of familiar faces and i even saw the ah beng from army daze! i talked to him and he even did the ah beng accent!si bei siongg ah!too bad there was no time for pictures.and there was that plainsunset guitarist guy too,by noon the sun was burning our skin non stop hits/heats!(pun intended)there was a large supply of 100 plus.by the end of the day,ive never had that many 100 plus!

and now,after a long nap,here i am.feeling the burn.7 hours straight of direct heat has taken its toll on my body,my head is so warm that i think im radiating heat!im sweating as if im still in the hot sun!by tmr,ill be peeling skin like a snake!no more red lobster!but i really wished i havent gone though,my skin is totally dark right now:(

abut we still had goodie bags and a free shirt!how i wished its was perfect 10 instead of power 98 though.
